Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) – Protect Your Future

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) ensures that someone you trust can make important decisions on your behalf if you become unable to do so due to illness, dementia, or other circumstances.

Without an LPA in place, your family or loved ones may struggle to manage your affairs in difficult situations. Many people assume their next of kin can automatically make decisions for them, but legally, this is not the case. Without an LPA, your relatives may need to apply to the courts for permission, leading to costly delays and stress during an already difficult time.

ο»ΏIf you or a loved one is concerned about managing finances due to ageing, facing an early dementia diagnosis, or simply want peace of mind that medical and financial decisions will be handled by someone you trust, setting up an LPA is a crucial step.

Types of LPA We Offer:

When Might You Need an LPA?

βœ… LPA for Elderly Parents – Ensure financial and care decisions are managed smoothly.

βœ… Dementia & Lasting Power of Attorney – Plan ahead before cognitive decline makes decision-making difficult.

βœ… Power of Attorney for Medical Decisions – Allow a trusted person to make crucial healthcare choices.

βœ… Financial LPA for Managing Money – Protect your assets and financial well-being.

βœ… Who Can Make Decisions for Me? – Without an LPA, courts may decide on your behalf.

Will Writing – Protect Your Loved Ones & Ensure Your Wishes Are Honoured

A legally binding Will ensures your assets are distributed according to your wishes and protects your family’s future. Without a Will, the law decides who inherits your estate, which can lead to disputes and financial difficulties for your loved ones.

If you are wondering "How do I make a Will?", "What happens if I die without a Will?", or "Do I need both an LPA and a Will?", we are here to guide you through the process and ensure your affairs are in order.

Why You Need a Will?

βœ… Ensure your estate is passed to the right people – Without a Will, the courts decide who inherits your assets.

βœ…  Appoint guardians for children – Protect family's future by naming guardians.

βœ…  Avoid family disputes & legal complications – reducing uncertainty and conflict.

βœ…  Make probate easier for family – Reduce stress with clear legal instructions.

βœ…  Reduce inheritance tax – A well-structured Will can minimise tax liabilities.
